OUR NEW LIGHTHOUSE COTTAGE

We Wanted to Recreate a Lighthouse in Honour of 

Historic Byng Inlet and it's role in the lumber trade. 

Our property once helped guide schooners down the Inlet 

to pick up lumber and timbers destined to as far away as Europe !

Over 10 years of searching lighthouse locations in the USA and 

Canada  encouraged us to build a lighthouse themed cottage.

 It is memorable  because we designed it and contributed 

to the construction of it.  November  is not nice  when 

the snow is blowing and you are standing  on  scaffolding 

installing rafters wet and cold wishing you could be

anywhere else and why did we not start the project in June.

We are proud , excited and now look forward. It is our favorite

Place to enjoy scenic Georgian Bay. I wish to thank my 

carpenter from  Severn Bridge Mike Johnston. for his 

dedication to the project.
